Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Williams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Williams.
Evans misses with a wild body shot.
Williams throws a right and a left that both miss.
Williams throws a series of punches but Evans avoids them all with ease.
Williams throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Evans is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Evans, as that shot connected.
A right-left combo lands from Williams.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head.
Williams throws a series of punches but Evans avoids them all with ease.
Evans moves out of range as Williams strikes.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slow jab from Evans misses its intended target.

Williams scores with a body shot.
Evans jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Williams throws a right hand that Evans ducks under and follows up with a left that Evans also avoids with ease.
Evans on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Evans takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Evans.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Evans looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Evans's head backwards.
Evans has a takedown stuffed.

and Evans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Williams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Evans's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williams uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Evans.

and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Evans backing up. Evans nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes.

Evans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Evans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head.
Evans has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Evans takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Williams is trying to maintain the position but Evans is very close to passing his half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evans accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rob Williams dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Williams lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Williams. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Evans misses with a jab to the body
and Williams counters with a good low kick that Evans was not able to check.
Evans throws an overhand right that lands on Williams's shoulder, as Williams tries to avoid the shot.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Evans is just out of range.
Williams stuns Evans with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Williams lands a really nice looking cross but Evans seems unphased.
No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams tries to bum rush Evans with a series of wild strikes but Evans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.

Evans looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Rob Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
