The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khandro has closed the distance and engaged Hushman in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khandro jumps guard but Hushman stands there with Khandro around his waist. Khandro gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Khandro drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hushman pulls his leg out and moves away.

Khandro closes the distance and clinches up with Hushman, looking for a takedown. Khandro pushes Hushman against the cage but Hushman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hushman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Hushman is pushing Khandro up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Hushman is looking to improve his position but Khandro isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Anil Khandro will probably get the nod.
