Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kari Koijaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Nogueira!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to clinch up but Koijaaja circles away and keeps his distance.
Koijaaja fails with a takedown attempt.

Koijaaja drives through and clinches with Nogueira against the ropes.
Nogueira tries to pull guard but Koijaaja holds him up against the ropes and eventually Nogueira drops back down to his feet.
Koijaaja is stalling here.
Nogueira gets underhooks to prevent Koijaaja's takedown attempt.
Koijaaja changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nogueira fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kari Koijaaja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Koijaaja shoots in for a takedown but Nogueira shows good takedown defense.
Nogueira closes the distance and clinches up with Koijaaja, looking for a takedown. Nogueira pushes Koijaaja against the ropes but Koijaaja circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Koijaaja gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nogueira advances position into side control!

Nogueira tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Nogueira is working to tighten is grip on Koijaaja's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Koijaaja has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nogueira is really squeezing tight and eventually Koijaaja passes out! Nogueira breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
