Augusto comes to the cage accompanied by adu-kein scherz. Fernando Augusto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Erik Williams!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A big right from Williams misses.
Augusto takes one to the chin there.
Williams misses with a low kick.
Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Augusto shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williams pinned against the cage. Williams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Augusto throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Williams because Augusto loaded up on that one.

Augusto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Williams wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Augusto.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Williams kicks off Augusto and gets to his feet.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Augusto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Augusto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Williams avoids it really well and circles away.

Williams misses with a low kick.
Williams tries to land a leg kick but Augusto saw it coming and moves away.
Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Augusto on the side of the head.

Williams darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Erik Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augusto is breathing heavily.
Williams lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erik Williams dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Augusto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Williams cracks Augusto with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Augusto looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Williams finish him?


Augusto is rocked!
Williams connects with a stiff jab that staggers Augusto - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Erik Williams!
