Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pooby Phants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phants comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo Chile. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hart's choice of entrance music: The Sharpshooter. Pooby Phants has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phants rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Phants missing with a left hand there. Hart was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hart fakes the leg kick and cracks Phants in the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hart throws a front kick aimed at Phants's knee but Phants avoids it well.

Hart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phants keeps working.
Phants avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hart.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Phants with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hart is going olschool here, as he tries to force Phants to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Phants shrugs it off.
