Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matti Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jos Bos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jos Bos!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuusela keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bos lands a lovely overhand right.

Kuusela lands a head kick that stumbles Bos and the fighters go to the mat.

Bos is rocked!

It looks like Jos Bos has been cut.
Kuusela landing some decent shots from guard.
Bos is still in real trouble! Can Kuusela finish him?

Kuusela drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bos dives on top into guard.
Kuusela has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kuusela lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bos!
Bos seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuusela fails to advance to Bos's back.
Bos sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bos is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuusela looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bos can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kuusela sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bos defending well though.

Kuusela is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bos defends it well.
Bos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuusela. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bos is concentrating on defense, preventing Kuusela from advancing position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kuusela walks into a left hand.
Bos just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuusela shoots in but Bos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kuusela slips a jab and a cross from Bos.
Kuusela misses the shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kuusela.
Kuusela falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bos counters with a series of strikes. Kuusela will be more careful next time no doubt.
Good exchange - Bos coming out on top.
No joy there for Bos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bos scores with a sloppy right hand. Kuusela should have avoided that one.

It looks like Matti Kuusela has been cut.
Kuusela tries for a takedown but Bos circles away easily
and Bos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matti Kuusela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kuusela is breathing heavily.
Kuusela takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bos jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Kuusela is rocked!
Bos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kuusela sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oh Kuusela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bos looks to throw the jab but Kuusela is out of range.
Kuusela seems to have got his legs back now.
Kuusela swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bos counters with a huge left! Kuusela is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bos isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Kuusela from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bos!
