The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo shoots for a takedown but Masaru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trejo.
Trejo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trejo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Hideki Masaru has been cut.
Trejo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trejo has a takedown stuffed.

Trejo sends Masaru crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Trejo is motioning to the referee to let Masaru up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Trejo drops Masaru with a big left hand and mounts him. Masaru is in big trouble!
Trejo prevents Masaru from getting the reversal.
Masaru seems to have recovered his senses.
