The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Awesome tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Echano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Echano misses with a head kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Echano! Awesome is out on his feet! Echano rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Awesome is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Awesome is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
