Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the ring accompanied by War - The Sick Puppies. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin tries to clinch up but Ventura circles away and keeps his distance.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ventura paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ventura throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Martin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ventura sprawls well. Ventura wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Ventura's corner calls for a 1-2. Ventura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Nolan Martin has been cut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
