Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reece Scoble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reece Scoble is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scoble leaves Rodriguez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Rodriguez.

Scoble closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Scoble decides to stand and escape the position.
Rodriguez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rodriguez doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Scoble counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Scoble wants to stand but Rodriguez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Rodriguez is pressing down on Scoble's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Scoble wants to stand but Rodriguez has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Rodriguez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Scoble is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rodriguez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Scoble's back instead.

Rodriguez tries for a takedown but Scoble circles away easily

and Scoble holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Scoble prevents a takedown attempt there.

Scoble wants the takedown. Rodriguez is fighting it off but Scoble persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rodriguez's guard against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rodriguez stands and throws Scoble's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scoble wants to get back to his feet but Rodriguez drags him back down.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rodriguez avoids the head kick by Scoble.

Scoble fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rodriguez sprawls well initially but Scoble persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Scoble knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodriguez on the ground.
Rodriguez is looking to control Scoble's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rodriguez avoid being mounted?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
