The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fairtex moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

enabling Fairtex to counter with a crisp jab.
A left and a right from Cooper both land. Nice combination.
Fairtex avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Cooper, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
