Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danie Fairhoof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Fairhoof lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Fairhoof shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Graham jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fairhoof manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Graham wants to control but Fairhoof is keeping him busy.

Fairhoof tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Graham is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fairhoof can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Graham is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Horrible takedown by Fairhoof or perhaps it was just good defense by Graham which made him look bad.

Graham ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fairhoof shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Graham as he jumps to the side.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Graham takes the fight into the clinch.

Fairhoof breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fairhoof is pushing down on Graham's leg trying to pass to half guard. Graham is fighting to maintain full guard but Fairhoof has managed to sneak the leg through.

Graham is going olschool here, as he tries to force Fairhoof to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fairhoof shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Graham will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jimmy Graham overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Graham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fairhoof gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well Graham has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
