The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hanson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hanson lands a jab-cross combination.
A big right from Hanson misses.
Hanson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fujii sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hanson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hanson wants it to stay on the feet.

Fujii shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fujii was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hanson wants to hold on but Fujii pushes him away.

Fujii is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hanson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hanson!

Fujii is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hanson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fujii's guard.

Hanson is trying to control the action in half guard but Fujii is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Fujii has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hanson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hanson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Fujii escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fujii is not content to let Hanson control the position.
Fujii is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hanson tries to pass to full mount but Fujii defends it.
Hanson is thwarting Fujii's attempts to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Fujii's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hanson looks to land a combination but Fujii avoids it well.

Fujii looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hanson is defending well. Fujii quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hanson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Fujii celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
