The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller sizes up Day with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Day bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Miller misses the jab.
A swing and a miss from Miller.
Day misses with the combination.
Miller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Day ducks under a wild hook from Miller.
Day checks the leg kick.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Day paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Day shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Miller is squirming around, avoiding Day's attempts to control the action.

Day looking to secure an arm triangle but Miller defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.

Day is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Miller is surviving well by controlling Day's body position as best he can.
