Griffin dives in and grabs Gant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gant pushes down on Griffin's head and hops out.
Griffin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gant's guard.
Gant tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Griffin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gant for as long as he can get away with.

Griffin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gant has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Griffin is looking to defend but Gant has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Griffin! Gant pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Griffin taps out and this one is all over!
