Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jonsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lover's Concerto by Kelly Chen. Lopez has chosen Fight for this love as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jonsson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jonsson lands in his opponent's guard.

Jonsson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lopez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lopez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lopez!
Jonsson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jonsson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jonsson wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jonsson has a closed guard, preventing Lopez from standing up.

Jonsson working for a triangle but Lopez defends it easily.
Lopez wants to stand but Jonsson is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jonsson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lopez's guard.

Jonsson drops back looking for a leg! Lopez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lopez manages to kick Jonsson off! Jonsson jumps back into Lopez's guard.
Lopez is pulling down on Jonsson's head to control his posture.

Lopez is trying to push Jonsson off with his feet but Jonsson grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Lopez's ankles and Lopez is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
