Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geasus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximus comes to the cage accompanied by Chiddy Bang - Opposite Of Adults. Geasus Maximus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayhem closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mayhem in particular looking to stall.
Mayhem scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Mayhem is pressing down on Maximus's thigh, looking to free his foot. Maximus is holding on for now.
Mayhem prevents Maximus from improving his position.
Mayhem lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Mayhem decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maximus moves in looking to clinch but Mayhem pushes him off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mayhem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mayhem sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maximus's guard.

Mayhem shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Maximus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mayhem accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mayhem throws a half hearted mid kick.
Maximus wants to clinch but Mayhem slips to the side

and Mayhem counters with a takedown into side control.
Max Mayhem has got the better of the ground game so far.

Maximus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
