And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Silva with a nice cross.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wallys Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva misses with a low kick.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Silva!

It looks like Ricky Ricardo has been cut.

Ricardo moves into the clinch successfully.

Ricardo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ricardo manages to end up in side control.
Ricardo trying to control the position but Silva is working away.
Silva is pushing Ricardo's head away, looking to escape. Ricardo manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ricardo in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Ricardo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

Ricardo moves into full mount!
Ricardo thowing shots but they're missing.
Silva wants to try and get back to his feet.
Ricardo content just to control the position here.
Ricardo mounts Silva! Really nice guard pass there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ricardo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Silva is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Ricardo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Silva turns into him and now he's in Ricardo's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ricardo is trying to control the position but Silva postures up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ricardo is on top in guard.
Ricardo wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.

Ricardo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Silva wants to stand up but Ricardo is controlling him.

Ricardo passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ricardo is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it.
Silva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ricardo.
Silva is looking to escape.

Ricardo seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.
Silva is trying to stand.
Ricardo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!

A close round but Ricky Ricardo will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ricardo closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Ricardo tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Ricardo drops back down to his feet.

Ricardo pulls guard effortlessly.
Ricardo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there.

Ricardo looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.

Ricardo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Silva is defending well. Ricardo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ricardo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
