The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deadly shoots for a takedown but McLeftout saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McLeftout defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Deadly.
McLeftout tries to close the distance and clinch but Deadly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McLeftout shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McLeftout showed some decent athleticism there.
Deadly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McLeftout wants to control but Deadly is keeping him busy.
McLeftout works his way into side control.
The strikes coming from McLeftout are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McLeftout decides to stand back up.
McLeftout tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deadly paws at him with a jab and circles away.
