The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenever fails with the takedown.
Jenever shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Santos napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Santos is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jenever has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Santos bucks up and tries to throw Jenever off but instead Jenever has got his back!
Santos is covering up but some of the strikes from Jenever are getting through and doing damage.
Jenever just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
