Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Humble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sergio Jr enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Humble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sergio Jr!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Humble pushes Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Jr looking for a takedown.
Jr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Humble walks away with a smile on his face. Jr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jr loads up on a big right hand but Humble slips the punch.
Sergio Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jr wants to clinch up but Humble keeps it at a distance.
Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Humble sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jr somewhat.
Mark Humble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Jr.
Humble leaves Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jr tries to clinch up but Humble circles away and keeps his distance.

and Humble decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jr's guard.
Jr looking for a sweep. Not yet Jr, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Humble lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jr circles away quickly and effectively.
Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Humble looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Humble is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Jr pulls his head out easily.

Humble is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jr's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jr's back!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Humble stuffs the takedown.
Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Humble, looking for a takedown. Jr pushes Humble against the cage but Humble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Humble shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Humble loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Humble wants to control from the top but Jr keeps moving.

and Humble counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jr's guard now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jr is on top in guard.

Jr stands up and waves to Humble to follow him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jr takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jr's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Jr is looking to improve his position but Humble isn't that keen on the idea.
Humble is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Humble can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jr is looking to escape.

Jr is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Humble wants to control the pace but Jr is squirming around nicely.
Humble is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jr has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jr!
Jr wants to pass the guard but Humble is keeping the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jr gets to his feet. Humble looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Well Humble has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
