Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Banks!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks drops Jones with a right and a left! Banks comes rushing in but Jones regains his composure and manages to keep Banks in guard.


It looks like Brandon Jones has been cut.
Banks wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Banks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Banks has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Banks manages to pass to side control!
Banks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Banks tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Jones slips a jab and a cross from Banks.
Banks is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Banks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Banks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
Bryan Banks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Banks wants to clinch.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Jones throws a right and a left that Banks avoids nicely.
Jones moves away from the strike by Banks.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Banks pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jones is working for a kimura but Banks is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Banks is positioning himself well to prevent Jones advancing to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Banks connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Banks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banks manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Banks's guard.

Jones is fighting to break Banks's control of his arms but Banks is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Jones has Banks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Banks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Banks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Banks is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
