Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sauli iigori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joss Pointon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joss Pointon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pointon throws a head kick but iigori moves out of range.

Horrible takedown by iigori or perhaps it was just good defense by Pointon which made him look bad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
iigori avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pointon stuffs the takedown attempt from iigori. iigori gets slowly back to his feet.

iigori shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pointon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sauli iigori will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sauli iigori.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for iigori, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
