Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Peart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andeson Silvas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Terry Peart has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terry Peart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andeson Silvas!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvas avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Peart throws the kick towards the body but Silvas avoids it.
Peart tries to clinch there but Silvas circles away.
Peart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Peart wants to clinch up but Silvas keeps it at a distance.
Peart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silvas keeps the fight on the outside.
Silvas misses with a few strikes there.
Terry Peart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silvas scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Silvas is trying to control. Peart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Peart bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silvas's guard.

Peart looking to sit in guard and control but Silvas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Silvas wants to control from the top but Peart keeps moving.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silvas is looking to stand up but Peart won't let him.

Silvas throws a strike but Peart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Silvas has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Peart regains guard immediately.
Peart pulls Silvas in close to his closed guard and prevents Silvas from doing any damage or advancing position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Silvas's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Silvas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silvas wants to stand and escape but instead Peart has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Andeson Silvas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Peart pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Peart does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Andeson Silvas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silvas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
