The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bunkles lands a head kick. Nishimura smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Nishimura closes the distance and clinches up with bunkles, looking for a takedown. Nishimura pushes bunkles against the cage but bunkles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nishimura shoots in for a takedown but bunkles shows good takedown defense.

Nishimura is going olschool here, as he tries to force bunkles to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so bunkles shrugs it off.

Nishimura is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, bunkles has managed to escape the submission attempt.
bunkles is trying to reverse the position but instead Nishimura has taken his back - oops!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nishimura is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. bunkles is defending well though. Nishimura let's go of the attempt for now.

Nishimura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says bunkles as he avoids it easily.

He's looking for a kimura. bunkles seems comfortable defending it but Nishimura has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! bunkles is real pain and he's forced to tap out! bunkles is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nishimura couldn't care less - he's delighted!
