Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gill is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome to the Jungle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willie Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeffrey Gill!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill avoids a kick to the body.
Conway moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Conway misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gill shoots for a double leg takedown but Conway sprawls well. He's pushed Gill's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Conway.
Gill looks gassed!
Conway throws a nice looking combination but Gill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gill crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Conway - the referee stops the clock and Gill gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Conway. Gill manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Conway.
Conway dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gill. That did some damage!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Conway! Gill is out on his feet! Conway rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gill is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gill is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Willie Conway!
