Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Douglass Alexidon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien Chevalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chevalier's choice of entrance music: The Final Countdown. Sebastien Chevalier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexidon shoots in for a takedown but Chevalier shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Alexidon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chevalier's half guard.
Chevalier is trying to stand up here but Alexidon is controlling him well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chevalier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alexidon's head backwards.

Chevalier lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Chevalier leaves Alexidon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Alexidon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chevalier as he jumps to the side.
Chevalier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chevalier lands a really nice looking cross but Alexidon seems unphased.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chevalier looks to land a combination. Alexidon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Chevalier scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Chevalier connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Alexidon tumbling to the canvas! Chevalier pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Alexidon was done - good stoppage!
