Hinton has chosen 50 cent - ill whip your head boy as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Briggs throws a head kick that Hinton semi-blocks.

It looks like Marvin Hinton has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Briggs shoots in and drives through. Hinton sprawls well.
Hinton tries to bum rush Briggs with a series of wild strikes but Briggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hinton slaps away a takedown attempt from Briggs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Briggs tries to move into range but Hinton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hinton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Briggs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Briggs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hinton but Hinton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Briggs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hinton avoids the body shot from Briggs.
Hinton lands a really nice looking cross but Briggs seems unphased.
Hinton scores with a three punch combo!
Hinton throws a right hand that Briggs ducks under and follows up with a left that Briggs also avoids with ease.
Briggs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hinton.
Hinton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Hinton throws a jab but it's blocked by Briggs.
Hinton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hinton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hinton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Briggs slips a jab and a cross from Hinton.
Briggs tries to clinch there but Hinton circles away.
Briggs fails with a takedown attempt.
Hinton scores with a three punch combo!
Briggs is breathing heavily.
Hinton throws a hook to the side of Briggs's head but Briggs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hinton, right into the meat.
Briggs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Briggs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hinton but Hinton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Briggs tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hinton Rushes Briggs and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Briggs is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Hinton Piles on the pressure and Briggs crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
