Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jayne Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Milicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobb comes into the arena with The Hero of Canton blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cobb tries to avoid it but Milicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cobb to the ground. Cobb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Milicz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cobb did well to prevent Milicz getting side control.
Cobb is trying to maintain the position but Milicz is very close to passing his half guard.
Milicz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Milicz is thwarting Cobb's attempts to control the position.

Milicz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cobb wants to control but Milicz is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Milicz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cobb as he avoids it easily.
Jayne Cobb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Milicz.
Cobb throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Milicz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cobb sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Milicz somewhat.
Jayne Cobb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cobb sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Milicz's defenses. It connects perfectly with Milicz's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
