Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Pounder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ramon tries to clinch there but Pounder circles away.
Ramon dodges the punch combination from Pounder.

Ramon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pounder, pushing him back against the cage.
Ramon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ramon scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A head punch on the inside from Pounder fails to land.

Ramon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fred Ramon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pounder throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pounder throws a body kick that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pounder lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ramon prevents Pounder from breaking the clinch.
Pounder wants to break the clinch but can't.

Pounder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ramon is on top in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ramon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Pounder throws a head kick but Ramon moves out of range.
Ramon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ramon shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Pounder kicks off Ramon and gets to his feet.
Pounder takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ramon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ramon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ramon.
Ramon wants to clinch.
A left and a right from Pounder both land. Nice combination.

Ramon shoots in and bounces Pounder off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Pounder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pounder is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ramon dives into side control.
Ramon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Ramon decides to stand back up.
Ramon blocks a jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pounder crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ramon - the referee stops the clock and Pounder gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ramon. Pounder manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ramon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ramon keeps control of Pounder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pounder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ramon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Pounder decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ramon's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pounder throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ramon colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Pounder as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ramon is left battered and dazed whilst Pounder and his camp cheer!
