PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoni Hardonk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Besnik Berisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hardonk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Requiem for a dream. Antoni Hardonk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Berisha. No joy for Hardonk on that attempt.

Hardonk shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Berisha napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Berisha tries to buck Hardonk off but Hardonk is having none of it.
Berisha throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Berisha manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Berisha flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Berisha tries to get to full guard but Hardonk has control of the leg.
Berisha throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hardonk slips a nice elbow through Berisha's hands, connecting with Berisha's forehead.
Berisha tries to roll over but Hardonk keeps him under control.
Berisha tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hardonk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hardonk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Berisha has hold of Hardonk's hands but Hardonk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hardonk connects with a nice short shot to Berisha's temple.

Berisha tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hardonk trying to control the action but Berisha is working from the bottom.
Berisha flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Berisha wants to improve his position but Hardonk is controlling well.
Berisha throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hardonk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berisha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Berisha is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hardonk scores with a couple of nice shots.

Hardonk is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Berisha is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hardonk fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Berisha from any more punishment! Congratulations to Hardonk! Great finish!
