The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tatum moves into the clinch.
Tatum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mussolini pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mussolini manages to break the clinch.
Mussolini misses with a straight right.
Tatum misses with a takedown attempt - Mussolini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tatum circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mussolini fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tatum, pushing him back against the cage.
Mussolini is working for takedown but Tatum is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mussolini crunches a lovely knee into Tatum's ribcage.

Mussolini escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mussolini moves into the clinch.
Tatum drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mussolini gets the underhooks and prevents it.
San Lucas Mussolini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drederick Tatum.
A right hook to the body lands for Mussolini.
Tatum tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mussolini smiles and moves away.
Tatum misses with a two punch combination.
Tatum shoots in but Mussolini avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mussolini drives through and clinches with Tatum against the cage.
Mussolini will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tatum up against the cage.

Mussolini breaks the clinch.
Mussolini wants to clinch.
Mussolini moves in looking to clinch but Tatum pushes him off.
Mussolini moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Tatum looks gassed!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mussolini.
Mussolini shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tatum but Tatum pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mussolini forces Tatum back against the cage and clinches.

Mussolini breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mussolini swats away the attempt to clinch by Tatum.
Mussolini connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tatum's hands.

Tatum tries to clinch up
and Mussolini counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Tatum to take - he tumbles to the cavas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Mussolini!
