Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Glass Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Brick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glass Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Brick!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe gets caught flat footed, as Brick shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Joe working for a triangle but Brick defends it easily.

Joe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brick looking to pass the guard.
Brick is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Joe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Brick connects with a couple of short punches.
Brick landing with the ground and pound.
Brick trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Joe is looking for a triangle but Brick pushes his legs off easily.

Joe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Joe is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brick's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Brick loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brick is working Joe over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Joe keeping full guard, as Brick tries to pass.
Brick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Joe has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brick doesn't defend quickly enough and Joe has managed to lock this one up! Can Brick escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Joe on a fantastic submission victory.
