The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Cold finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lafferty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cold avoids it really well and circles away.
Lafferty wants to clinch.

Cold takes the fight into the clinch.

Cold has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lafferty clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Cold is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lafferty defends well.

Cold has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lafferty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
