The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia tries to clinch but Poluyanov is having none of it.

Garcia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poluyanov tries to avoid it but Garcia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poluyanov to the ground. Poluyanov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Poluyanov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garcia doesn't seem phased though.

Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch but Poluyanov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Poluyanov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Garcia.
Garcia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt - Poluyanov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Marcelio Garcia has been cut.
Garcia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Poluyanov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garcia somewhat.
Garcia moves out of range as Poluyanov strikes.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Garcia might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Poluyanov has got the better of the exchanges.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poluyanov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively.
Garcia is trying desperately to land a takedown but Poluyanov is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Garcia.

and Poluyanov counters with a head kick. That will keep Garcia thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Nice uppercut lands for Poluyanov. That snapped Garcia's head back.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Poluyanov, right into the meat.

and Poluyanov counters with a left right combination that sends Garcia crashing to the mat - Poluyanov wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Garcia out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
