Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franchise throws a shot from downtown. Fanger moves away and avoids it.
Fanger ducks under a wild hook from Franchise.
Franchise bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fanger's head backwards.
Franchise lands a jab.
Franchise throws a hook but Fanger blocks it.
Franchise misses with a straight right.

Fanger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Franchise!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fanger cracks Franchise with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's time! Franchise's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Franchise throws a hook but Fanger avoids it easily.
Fanger takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Fanger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Franchise as he jumps to the side.

Fanger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fanger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fanger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Franchise is trying to escape the mount.

Fanger is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Franchise can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fanger has hold of Franchise's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Franchise manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fanger goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Franchise turns into him and now he's in Fanger's guard.

Lance Fanger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Franchise throws out a loose jab but Fanger uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fanger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Franchise is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fanger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Franchise's back instead.

Well, with Fanger on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Franchise is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Fanger is trying to stick to Franchise's back but Franchise is turning into Fanger. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fanger's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Franchise.

Fanger has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Franchise should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fanger has tightened it up now! Franchise should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
