Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Halberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halberg tries to clinch up but Berry circles away and keeps his distance.

Berry darts in and clinches Halberg up against the cage.
Halberg wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Berry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Berry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck for Halberg with that takedown attempt.
Berry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Halberg swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Halberg tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Berry wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Berry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Halberg swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Berry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Halberg tries to avoid it but Berry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Halberg to the ground. Halberg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Halberg is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Berry is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
