The crowd seem to be enjoying Metsonen's choice of entrance music: Michael Jackson - Beat It. Martti Metsonen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eric Mccaughan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metsonen throws a sloppy head kick and Mccaughan moves out of range easily.
Metsonen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mccaughan is fending him off so far but Metsonen persists. Nope, Mccaughan circles away and we're back to standing.
Metsonen shoots in but Mccaughan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Eric Mccaughan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martti Metsonen.

Metsonen working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mccaughan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Metsonen off and cradles Mccaughan's limp body as Metsonen celebrates with his corner.
