Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doug Ram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Diego Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ram tries to clinch but Martinez moves out of range.
Ram tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martinez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ram shoots for a takedown but Martinez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ram doesn't manage to clinch there - Martinez circles away.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ram really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Martinez won't let Ram get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Martinez is going olschool here, as he tries to force Ram to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ram shrugs it off.

Martinez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Martinez is trying to control. Ram wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

and Martinez counters with a takedown into side control.
Ram wants to get back to his feet but Martinez is dominant here and he's now got Ram's back!

Martinez is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ram with him. Ram is trying to defend but Martinez has an arm under the chin now! Ram grimaces and is forced to tap out!
