The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Dominique or perhaps it was just good defense by Riformato which made him look bad.
Dominique is trying hard to land a takedown here. Riformato sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dominique tries to clinch up but Riformato circles away and keeps his distance.

Riformato scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Riformato looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dominique with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Riformato really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dominique fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Riformato sprawls well initially but Dominique persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Riformato has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dominique is working away from the top position though.
Dominique winds up and cracks Riformato with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Riformato has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Dominique is trying to keep an underhook but Riformato manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Dominique is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Riformato has latched onto it... Big trouble! Riformato pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Dominique is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Riformato!
