The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutikainen shoots in and drives through. Riggs sprawls well.
Mutikainen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mutikainen tries to keep at a distance but Riggs has taken the fight into the clinch.
Riggs lands a takedown into guard.
Riggs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mutikainen is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mutikainen keeping moving, preventing Riggs from controlling successfully.
Mutikainen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Riggs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mutikainen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riggs has managed to get both his arms back between Mutikainen's legs - danger averted.
