Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Veneda S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almeida is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: SSS- The Cult. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ricardo Almeida enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

You get the feeling that S really doesn't like being in this position too much.
S trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Almeida is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, S has managed to escape the submission attempt.
S wants to try and get back to his feet.

Almeida has control of S's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and S regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Almeida can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as S is looking to escape.

S bucks Almeida off and manages to get back to his feet!

S throws a nice looking combination but Almeida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
S scores with a one two! Almeida had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Ricardo Almeida has been cut.
S moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
S will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Almeida is breathing heavily.
S misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

S looks to land a combination but Almeida avoids it well.

S dances in with a quick combination. Almeida is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from S snaps Almeida's head back. Almeida stumbles backwards against the cage. S steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Almeida's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Almeida just didn't come prepared.
