Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Culli Cello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and muhammad ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Culli Cello has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cello looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cello throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
ali throws a head kick that misses.
Cello tries for a takedown but ali sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from ali.

and ali counters with a shoot takedown. Cello fights it but they end up in guard.

Cello knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for ali on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cello wants to improve his position but instead ali has moved into half guard.
ali perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Despite being in the dominant position, muhammad ali just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cello doesn't succeed with the takedown

and ali holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Culli Cello. That's going to take a lot out of him.

ali jumps guard and drags Cello to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

ali lands a big shot there that rocks Cello but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
ali stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cello's waist but Cello gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ali off to one side.

ali moves into the clinch successfully.
ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cello pulls his leg out and moves away.

ali closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - ali lands in his opponent's guard.

Cello lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ali circles away quickly and effectively.

Cello is working an open guard so ali takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
ali shoots in but Cello avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cello has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

ali has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cello can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cello lands a nice looking body shot.

ali has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Cello wants to control from the top but ali keeps moving.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cello looking to sit in guard and control but ali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
ali looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Let's hope that ali has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cello wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

ali gets to his feet. Cello looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

ali shoots in and drives through. Cello sprawls well.

Cello clinches up with ali and pushes him back against the ropes.

ali manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
ali pulls Cello in close to his closed guard and prevents Cello from doing any damage or advancing position.
