PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ur Gonnalose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gonnalose might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Uprising. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Gonnalose.
Creed closes the distance and clinches up with Gonnalose, looking for a takedown. Creed pushes Gonnalose against the cage but Gonnalose circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gonnalose loads up on a big right hand but Creed slips the punch.
No joy there for Gonnalose, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Creed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gonnalose tries to avoid it but Creed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gonnalose to the ground. Gonnalose escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gonnalose fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gonnalose.

It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Creed.

Creed is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gonnalose is surviving well by controlling Creed's body position as best he can.
Gonnalose really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Creed is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gonnalose can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Creed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gonnalose is just riding it out for now. Creed eventually gives up the hold.
