Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piotr Krycewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Zork!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zork throws a big shot that misses.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Krycewski.

Krycewski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Krycewski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Zork slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Krycewski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Zork controls from within his opponent's guard.

Krycewski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zork gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Krycewski wants to control the pace but Zork is squirming around nicely.

Zork is looking for a sweep. Krycewski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zork shoots in looking for a takedown. Krycewski tries to sprawl out of it but Zork keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Krycewski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Krycewski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Zork is looking to regain half guard here but Krycewski keeps moving and retains side control.
Krycewski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zork keeps working.

Krycewski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Zork has escaped the position, nice work there.

Krycewski gets to mount! Zork was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Krycewski avoids the attempt from Zork to control.

Krycewski goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Zork turns into him and now he's in Krycewski's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zork accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Krycewski throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Zork is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Zork controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Zork's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Krycewski wants to control the position but Zork says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Krycewski wants to get back to full guard but Zork has mounted him!

Krycewski is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Zork gets his way!
Zork is looking to control Krycewski but Krycewski is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zork is hanging on to Krycewski's back as he tries to escape.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Krycewski tries to stall but Zork uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Zork tries to land knees in the clinch but Krycewski avoids the damage to the body.
Zork jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Krycewski walks away with a smile on his face. Zork gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Zork goes for a takedown attempt but Krycewski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Piotr Krycewski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Zork.
