Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch has chosen Motörhead - "Orgasmatron" as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Day throws a series of punches but Fitch moves out of range.
Fitch moves out of range of the strikes.
Day digs a good hook to Fitch's body.
Day waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Fitch.
Day throws a series of punches but Fitch avoids them all with ease.
Fitch has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Day finds it's way round the side to connect with Fitch's head.

Fitch decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fitch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Day with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fitch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fitch working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fitch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Fitch lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Fitch seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
