Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Dragoun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragoun comes into the arena with You're Going Down blaring out of the sound system. Edwards has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragoun fails in his attempt to clinch.

Edwards shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Edwards was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dragoun wants to hold on but Edwards pushes him away.

Edwards goes for an armbar but Dragoun turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dragoun.
Dragoun is looking to stand up but Edwards won't let him.

Edwards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dragoun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Edwards wants to sweep here but Dragoun controlling him for the moment.
Dragoun wants to control from the top but Edwards keeps moving.

Edwards had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dragoun is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Edwards Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dragoun's back instead.

Edwards is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dragoun is defending well though. Edwards let's go of the attempt for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Dragoun tries to break free.

Dragoun is having to fend off submission attempts from Edwards, who is looking to sink in the choke. Edwards doesn't have the hooks in though and Dragoun manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dragoun content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Dragoun drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dragoun jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dragoun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Edwards on the ground.

Edwards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dragoun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dragoun is keen to just control but Edwards is a slippery customer.
