Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between bitty mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and steve rifformato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). steve rifformato will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

rifformato closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - rifformato lands in his opponent's guard.

mack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. rifformato gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

rifformato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. mack swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

mack shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

mack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for rifformato on the ground.

rifformato looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! mack has picked rifformato up and slammed him! rifformato can't keep hold of the triangle and mack manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
rifformato bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

mack sneaks out the side door and pushes rifformato away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

rifformato fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. mack sprawls well initially but rifformato persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

rifformato has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can mack defend it? rifformato steps over the head and cranks it - mack is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for rifformato!
