Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Angel Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Graf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Meet the Monster" Five Finger Death Punch. Angel Pain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angel Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artem Graf!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graf circles away.
Pain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Graf looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Graf throws a nice looking combination but Pain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pain tries to clinch but Graf is having none of it.
Pain fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pain is defended easily by Graf.

Pain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Graf sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pain somewhat.

Pain is nestled in close to Graf, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Pain turns into Graf and is now in his guard.
Pain is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pain's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pain lands with a nice combination. Graf backs away looking to recover.

Pain decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Pain feints and as Graf raises his hands in defense, Pain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

BOOM! Pain connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Graf that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pain goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Graf turns into him and now he's in Pain's guard.
Graf is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Pain is pulling down on Graf's head to control his posture.
Graf passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Graf has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Graf moves out of range of the body kick from Pain.
Pain misses with a takedown attempt - Graf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pain swats away the attempt to clinch by Graf.

Pain moves into the clinch.
Pain connects with a nasty looking knee right to Graf's face.
Graf misses with a short punch on the inside.
Graf can't break the clinch.

Pain gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Graf regains guard.

Graf has his foot on Pain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pain works his way back into a safe position though.
