Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Angel Suarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrea Singlaterry!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Singlaterry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Singlaterry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Singlaterry postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Singlaterry wants to control but Suarez is keeping him busy.
Singlaterry might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Suarez kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Suarez has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Singlaterry has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Suarez is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Singlaterry has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Well Suarez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
